“Rise Above” is inspired by growing up in the wilds of Alaska and being obsessed with whales and the northern lights alike. So, I had a lot of fun combining the two in this fun, whimsical painting full of joy and life…and LOTS of rich, vibrant colors!A portion of the proceeds of this painting will be donated to @rewild. I have collaborated with them in the past to raise funds for wildlife conservation, and continue to donate a portion of my art sales of MAD Wonderland animal paintings to their amazing organization..I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with whales and feel strongly that we need to preserve their habitats and protect all the species, particularly the endangered ones. Let’s all do what we can do protect this beautiful home, our planet, that gives us life and so much beauty
